SYDNEY (4th stop)
I plan to spend a total of 6 full days in Sydney flying there on the 27th of October using Qantas Airways. in these 6 days i hope to have a rest after 3 hard months in Thailand and do some couch surfing.
"The CouchSurfing Project is the largest hospitality exchange network, with over 1.85 million members in 237 countries and territories It is the most visited hospitality service on the Internet, averaging around 40 million daily page views July December 2009"
Basically its a big network of Backpackers who put there couches as available to surf(crash on) while they are not traveling themselves. its a great way to meat new people and really immerse your self in the culture of the country you are traveling by living with someone who knows the city like the back of his hand. it works using the hope that if you help someone out they will be happy to help you out.
anyway, i plan to use this while i am in Australia and hopefully i wont have to pay for any accommodation and i should meet some great people.
again i am looking forward to seeing all the interesting structures in Sydney mainly because i am fascinated by how they were constructed, hence why i want to study Civil and Structural Engineering at University.
